Correct use and maintenance of steam machine for shoes making

(1) Steam machine for shoes making is coated with anti-rust grease to prevent the parts from rusting before packing. Before use, the grease on the surface must be cleaned with gasoline and dried with a clean cotton gauze or soft cloth.
(2) Install the machine head, frame, motor and winder as shown.
(3) Before the steam machine for shoes making runs, it is necessary to add sewing oil to each oil hole, and then drive the empty car for trial operation. The direction of movement of the handwheel should be counterclockwise (operator towards the handwheel). After the machine is in normal use, lubricating oil should be added frequently, not less than twice per shift.
(4) After the new steam machine for shoes making is installed, there should be a period of low-speed running-in. After running at 250 stitches per minute on the big wheel for one month, it should be accelerated to the rated speed, which is beneficial to the service life of the machine.
(5) The choice of needles and sutures of steam machine for shoes making depends on the nature of sewing and job requirements. When sewing thicker materials, it is not advisable to use a needle that is too thin to prevent the needle from being broken by biting the thread. The size of the machine needle should generally be matched with the thickness of the suture, and the suture should be able to pass smoothly in the needle hole and thread groove of the machine needle. When sewing tire soles, the stitches should be run through soapy water and lubricating oil.
